1 stick butter or margarine
1 c chopped onion
1 c chopped cooked ham
¼ tablespoon garlic powder
44 oz water
½ c chicken soup base
6 c water
4 c crushed whole tomatoes
2 (16-oz) pkg frozen broccoli
1½ tablespoon nutmeg
1 c elbow spaghetti
1. Saute onion in butter, add ham and garlic powder.
2. Make a broth with the 44 oz water and soup base.
3. Add to sauteed mixture, with the 6 c water, tomatoes, broccoli and nutmeg.
4. As soup starts to cook add elbow spaghetti. Cook until broccoli is done.
