Ingredients:

2 (16 oz) pkg frozen broccoli

12 c water

2 tablespoons salt

12 c half and half

3 sticks (1½ c) margarine

2 c flour

white pepper

Directions:

1. Cook broccoli in water with salt. When broccoli is done, drain liquid into plastic bucket and set cooked broccoli aside.

2. Return liquid to pan adding enough water, if necessary to make 12 c, heat and set aside.

3. Meanwhile scald half and half, set aside. Melt margarine. Add flour with a dash of white pepper, stir to blend.

4. Add liquid from broccoli, about 2 c at a time, mix to blend.

5. When liquid is all added, add half and half about 2 c at a time. Have heat on med. Cook just a few min to thicken add cooked broccoli.
