Slow-Cooker Apple Crisp Vanilla Sauce

Ingredients:

3 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. flour

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

8 granny smith apples (about 2-1/2 lb.), peeled, sliced

12 gingersnap cookies, crushed

¾ cup quick-cooking oats

½ cup chopped planters pecans

¼ cup butter or margarine, melted

1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) jell-o vanilla flavor instant pudding

¼ tsp. ground nutmeg

3 cups milk

Directions:

1. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon in large bowl. Add apples; toss to coat. Place in slow cooker.

2. Combine cookie crumbs, oats, nuts and butter; sprinkle over apple mixture. Cover with lid.

3. Cook on HIGH 2 to 2-1/2 hours (or on LOW 3 to 5 hours).
