2 packages of beef ribs (10-12 pieces )
olive oil 1-2 teaspoons
black pepper , onion & garlic powders 1-2 teaspoons each
meat tenderizer 1-2 teaspoons
smoked or sweet paprika 1-2 teaspoons
worstershire sauce 1 -2 teaspoons
liquid smoke 1/2 teaspoon
light brown sugar 1/4 cup or as needed
mccormicks grill mates brown sugar bourbon marinade seasoning 1/2 half to 1 package
heinz bbq sauce carolina mustard style sauce 1/2 cup to 1 cup
aluminum foil
1. Place the beef ribs in a colander. Rinse the ribs with cold water several times. Drain the beef ribs. Pat the ribs dry with some paper towels. Place the beef ribs in a bowl.
2. Add the 1 -2 Teaspoons of the Olive oil (canola , vegetable oil can also be used) over the beef ribs.
3. Add the 1 - 2 Teaspoons of the Onion Powder, Garlic Powders. Add the 1 - 2 Teaspoons of either Smoked Or Sweet Paprika. Add 1/2 to 1 package of the McCormicks Brown Sugar Bourbon Marinade Seasoning (depending upon the size of the ribs more or less may be needed). Add the 1 - 2 Teaspoons of the Meat Tenderizer. Add the 1 - 2 Teaspoons of the Black Pepper. Add 1/2 Teaspoon of the Liquid Smoke (this seasoning adds a smoky grill flavor). Add the 1/4 cup of Light Brown Sugar. Add the 1/4 cup of the Heinz Mustard BBQ Sauce.
4. Using gloves or clean hands . Rub all the seasonings into the beef ribs . Make sure to rub the seasonings on both sides of the beef ribs . Marinate the seasoned beef ribs for 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator .
5. Cooking the Beef Ribs. Preheat the crock pot on high for at least 20 - 30 mins. Add the seasoned beef ribs to the crock pot .
6. Cover the crock pot with foil. Place the top of the crock pot over the foil. Cook on High for 2 to 3 Hours.
7. After 2 to 3 hours check the ribs for tenderness. Cook for 30 minute intervals until the tenderness of your liking is reached. Carefully drain any liquid in the crock pot. Using the Heinz Mustard Style BBQ sauce. Baste & cover the beef ribs on both sides with the bbq sauce .
8. Place the crock pot top back on the crock pot. Turn the crock pot setting to the Medium setting. Cook for 1 to 2 hours.
10. Serve the Mustard Style Beef Ribs with additional Mustard BBQ sauce squeezed over the top of the ribs.
