Ingredients:
1 diced onion
1lb (or more) cubed ham
2 cups half and half or heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheese of your choice
1lb vegetables of your choice
2lbs cooked rice
1/2 a stick of butter
olive oil
salt
pepper
Directions:
- 1. On medium heat a large skillet with olive oil and butter sauté onion for five minutes. Then add cubed ham.
- 2. Fry till fully heated, add the veggies, cook till tender. Then add half and half let it simmer for 20 min assemble time in a baking dish. Put cooked rice on bottom and pour the ham and veggies over the rice and sprinkle cheese over casserole.
- 3. Put in a preheated oven 350° between 20-30 min and take it out and let it cool before serving 10 min should be good.
