Ingredients:

1 egg

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon lemon extract

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)

2. Grease and flour an 8x4 inch loaf pan.

3. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

4. Cut in butter.

5. Break 1 egg into a measuring cup and then fill to the 1 cup line with milk.

6. Add to dry ingredients and beat well.

7. Add vanilla and lemon flavoring.

8. Pour batter into an 8x4 inch loaf pan.

9. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
