Ingredients:

1 cup self-rising flour

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup milk

56 grams butter melted

salt pinch

cream to serve

vanilla ice-cream to serve

2 tablespoons golden syrup (sauce)

28 grams butter (sauce)

1 1/2 cups hot water (sauce)

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 180°C. Then grease an oven-proof dish. Mix together in a bowl flour, sugar, salt, butter and milk. Then spoon into the baking dish.

2. Combine in another bowl all the sauce ingredients. Stir until all mixed together.

3. Once combined together pour over cake mix using the back of a spoon

4. Bake for approximately 35 – 45 minutes in the oven or until a golden-brown color. Serve immediately with cream & vanilla ice-cream.
