3 pounds head on shrimp
1 stick butter
1/2 cup olive oil
4 tablespoons worchestshire sauce
2 tablespoon ground black pepper
juice of 2 lemons
4 tablespoons chopped fresh garlic
2 tablespoons dried basil
1 tablespoon dried thyme leaves
favorite hot sauce to taste
1. In heavy bottom oven proof pan: melt 1 stick butter. Add next all.
2. Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat. Remove from heat, let mixture cool slightly.
3. Add shrimp and turn to coat the shrimp.
4. Cook in the oven at 375 for 5 minutes, turn the shrimp and cook another 5 minutes. Cook more or less to suit your taste and based on size of shrimp.
5. Best served in the pan with diners around the table. Warmed French bread should be served and used to dip in the pan juices.
