2 1/2 cups hot to the touch tap water
3 tbsp white sugar
3 tsp yeast
3 tbsp margarine or lard
1 tsp salt
6 1/2 cups white flour to your mixture
1. Stir in a bowl first 3. In a few minutes you will see the yeast bubbling to the top. Add 3 tbsp margarine or lard, 1 tsp salt.
2. Start adding 6 1/2 cups white flour to your mixture. Keep blending until slightly sticky but cleans the bowl. You may need to add a bit more water or flour.
3. Lightly oil a large bowl and place the dough in the bowl and turn to coat. Once oven has got to 200 turn it OFF and put dough in bowl.
4. Covered in Saran Wrap into the oven. Now be patient. This could take 1 hour or 3. Once the dough has doubled in size take it out and put on floured surface. Turn your oven on again to 200. Shape your loads or if making buns shape buns.
5. Once shaped and in pan you are cooking it in turn your oven off again and sit inside the oven until it raises again. Add grated cheese or onions once risen.
6. Turn your oven to 350 and bake. Approx. 30 minutes or until knife come out clean. This makes 2 loads.
