3 t. sesame oil
1 bunch asparagus, woody ends removed and then cut into 3 rds.
small container of button mushrooms, cleaned and quartered
1/2 of a small onion, sliced
1/2 c. chicken broth
2 t. tamari or soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 t. cornstarch
1. Whisk together 1 T. sesame oil and the last 4 ingredients, set aside. Heat 2 T. sesame oil in a large skillet over med. high heat.
2. Add the mushrooms and cook for 1 minute, stir in the asparagus and onion, cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the sauce, stirring to coat the veggies, lower the heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes or till your desired doneness of the asparagus.
