Homemade Potato Soup

Ingredients:

2 1/2 lbs tators, peeled and diced

12 baby carrots, diced

two cans broth (chicken or beef works)

1 cup heavy cream or milk

1 n half cups shredded cheddar

8 real bacon, cooked n crumbled

pkg cream cheese

lots of black pepper n salt

tablespoon onion powder

Directions:

  1. 1. Bring tators, carrots, broth, and a little water or milk, just to cover veg, to a boil about 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Add heavy cream or milk, bacon (save a bit for topping if desired, seasonings and boil between low and medium until veggies are tender. Add one cup shredded cheese and package of cut up cream cheese.
  3. 3. Mix occasionally til all melted. Then whoever can top with leftover shredded cheese and bacon.
