Ingredients:

1 bosc pear, cut and cored (8 pcs)

1/4 cup white wine

1/2 tsp cardamom

1/2 lemon, sliced (4 pcs)

2 servings of chicken, such as 4 drumsticks

1/4 tsp salt and pepper

1 sprig of rosemary leaves, cut

fresh chopped parsley

Directions:

1. Add chicken to Crock Pot and season with salt and pepper. Top with pears, white wine, cardamom, rosemary and parsley. Top each drumstick with a lemon slice.

2. Cook on low 5-6 hours. Served with green salad and bread & butter.

3. Opt.: the juices can be used, as is, to top pasta or rice or can be made into a gravy.
