150 gm soft butter
3 tablespoon golden syrup
2 tablespoon hot water
1.5 teaspoon soda bi-carbonate
100 gm rolled oats or instant oats
100 gm desiccated coconut
150 gm plain flour (sieve)
50 gm cocoa powder
130 gm sugar
1. Preheat oven 160'C
2. Grease a baking tray
3. Boil butter and syrup together till melt. Leave aside
4. Add baking soda in hot water. Stir well till dissolve
5. Mix well oats, coconut, flour, cocoa powder and sugar
6. Mix well all ingredients (wet mixture with the dry mixture)
7. Using a spoon, drop the dough loosely on the greased baking tray. Do not press dough nor place them too closely to each other.
8. Bake in preheated oven for about 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown
9. Leave cookies to cool. When cooled, pack them immediately into air-tight container (or else will turn soft)
