Ingredients
- 6 servings
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 1.5 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- salt 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder 1/8 tsp
- cheddar cheese sliced or 3/4 c if grated (more if you want)
- 1 can 8 oz can crescent roll or 1 crescent roll sheet in a tube
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
Directions
- Brown 1 lb ground beef and 1/4 cup onion, diced.
- Next, add 1/4 of dill pickle, dice, 1/2 cup of ketchup, 1/2 cup water and 1 to 1.5 Tbsp mustard, salt, pepper and garlic powder, mix all up. Pour all into a 9x9 Casserole dish.
- Next, you'll need the 8 oz tube of crescent rolls, (or crescent toll sheet) enough cheese to fit in a layer in the casserole, about a Tbsp of milk, and sesame seeds. Layer the cheese over top of the beef mixture. Then, you add the crescent roll as the crust. Next, brush milk on the top, and add the sesame seeds. Then bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
