1/4 lb. bulk pork sausage
2 tbsp. butter
2 to 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/4 to 1 1/3 cups milk
warm biscuits
1. In a small skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until no longer pink, drain. Add the butter and heat until melted. Add the flour, salt and pepper, cook and stir until blended.
2. Gradually add the milk, stirring it constantly. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with biscuits.
