2 eggs
1 tsp almond extract
1 box of Betty Crocker Devil's Food cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1/3 c. milk (frosting)
1 c. sugar (frosting)
5 tbsp butter (frosting)
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (frosting)
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Spray a 1-inch deep baking sheet with baking spray and set aside.
3. Whisk together the eggs and almond extract in a large bowl
4. Add Betty Croker devil’s Food Cake mix.
5. Add can of Duncan Hines cherry pie filling.
6. Pour into baking sheet that was set aside in step 2.
7. Spread evenly and bake for about 25 minutes or until done (tooth pick inserted into middle and comes out clean.)
8. Directions for Frosting. While your cake is baking combine milk, sugar, and butter into a small saucepan and heat on medium high stirring until all is melted. Bring mixture to a boil for 1 minute remove from heat and then add chocolate chips and stir until creamy smooth.
9. Pour the hot frosting over the sheet cake and spread out to the edges. Let cool or serve hot.
