4 cups of water or broth
1/2 dry split peas
6 oz smoked meat, sliced
2 organic carrots, sliced or chopped
1 sweet potato, peeled and chopped
1-5 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 sweet onion, chopped
organic carrot tops, chopped
curly parsley, chopped
1 tsp pink salt
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1. Dump everything in and stir.
2. Cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4-6 hours.
