5 c stew meat, cut up in small pieces
onion, peeled and sliced
garlic powder, to taste
1 can (6lb-3oz) whole tomatoes, broken up
12 c water
8 tablespoons salt
4 tablespoons caraway seed
4 c green pepper, cut into strips
3 c sliced potatoes
1. Brown meat in a large kettle.
2. Drain, return liquid back into kettle.
3. Add onion rings, cook covered until fairly tender. Add paprika, garlic powder.
4. Return meat to kettle, add tomatoes. Add water, salt and caraway seed. Cook about 2 hours on low heat.
5. Add green pepper, and potatoes. Cook until potatoes are done.
