Ingredients:

a package of 5 drumsticks (2 1/2 servings)

1/2 cup corn kernels

1/2 cup peas thawing

2 oz of sour cream

1/2 med onion, chopped (drumsticks)

1 rib celery, chopped (drumsticks)

1-3 cloves garlic, chopped (drumsticks)

1 cup milk (drumsticks)

1 homemade ranch dressing seasoning (drumsticks)

1/2 tsp thyme (drumsticks)

1/3 cup fresh chopped parsley (drumsticks)

fresh parsley

2 tbsp starch

2-4 tbsp water

sour cream

vegetables

2/3 cup of macaroni

Directions:

1. Making your own is a great way to control ingredients to your liking and health.

2. Cook on low about 5-6 hours.

3. Remove chicken to bone and stir in the slurry (2 Tbsp starch mixed with 2-4 Tbsp water), the sour cream and thawed vegetables. Give it 15-20 minutes on high, then add the boned chicken back in and turn to warm.

4. After cooking 2/3 cup of macaroni stir it in, allowing it to soak up the flavors.
