Ingredients:

1 tablespoon ground pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin

1 1/2 tablespoon ground turmeric

4 garlic cloves, minced

6 celery stalks, chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

8oz baby carrots, cut in half

1 1/4lbs of potatoes, chunked

1 1/2lbs linguica, cut in 1/4in pieces

1 cup lentils

1 cup barley

1 1/2 32oz boxes of vegetable stock

1/4 32oz box of beef stock

1 cup of water

2 cups of chopped kale

1 14oz can diced tomatoes

Directions:

1. Prep veggies and meat.

2. Load slow cooker with all ingredients except kale.

3. Slow cook for 3 hours.

4. Add the 2 cups of kale, cook until kale is wilted and distributed throughout.

5. Serve & enjoy.
