3 apples, sliced thinly and peeled
2 tbl lemon juice
2tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg
250gr castor sugar
250gr unsalted butter
1 2/3 cup SR flour
4 eggs
1. Sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg to dust when cooked and cooled.
2. Cream butter and sugar, add flour. Whisk eggs and add rest of ingredients and mix for 4 minutes with beater.
3. Cover sc with greaseproof paper or prep tin. Add mix a little at time, adding apples as you go, placing them all around, then adding more mix. Place more apples on top and cook on low for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
