1 lb beans pinto
6 cups water
1 ham bone
1 cup cubed ham
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried basil
1 tbsp. cajun seasoning
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1. In a large slow cooker combine beans, water, ham bone, cubed ham, onion, garlic, basil, Cajun seasoning, salt & Worcestershire sauce.
2. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or until beans or tender.
3. Taste for seasoning and add salt or Cajun seasoning as necessary.
4. Serve with cornbread, over rice or as a side.
