Ingredients:

kg of beef stew cubed

flour

cocoa powder

salt

pepper

beef stock powder

6 carrots cubed

celery cubed about 6 stems

mushrooms about 8 to 10 cubed

can chickpeas

2 cans diced tomatoes

plus bit of water to rinse cans for all the flavour

green capsicum diced

4 cloves garlic crushed

thumb sized bit crushed ginger

2 large sprigs rosemary thrown in

3 bayleafs

1 whole small dried chill

2 cubed green apples unpeeled

stick of cinnamon

large dash worcestershire sauce

third bottle red wine

1 large diced onion

Directions:

1. Just over kg of beef stew cubed dust in flour, cocoa powder, salt and pepper, and beef stock powder (no homemade stock in freezer at moment).

2. Then add all remaining. cooking for 4 -5 hours high (dinner before 6 pm). Serve on a bed of mashed potatoes and kumera to soak up all the gravy with.
