a pack of Quorn mince (you can of course use real meat)
1 cup of red lentils
2 cups of vegetable stock
1 teaspoon of marmite (optional)
frozen peas, carrots and green beans
1 tin of sweetcorn
1 tin of baked beans
dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of sage
1 teaspoon of thyme
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of garlic granules
black pepper
mash
1. Cook for a bit so that the lentils soak up some of the liquid, then add mash. You can use fresh mash or frozen.
2. Cook on low all afternoon (about 5 or 6 hours in total). If you're using fresh mash you can add it about an hour before serving.
3. Top with grated cheese and sliced tomatoes about an hour before the end.
