Ingredients:

thinly sliced potatoes

carrots

red lentils (rinsed)

a sprinkle of thyme, sage, basil and onion powder

clove of crushed garlic in the middle layer

potato slices

2 vegetable stock cubes

spray oil

sprinkle of paprika

Directions:

1. Into Slow cooker layer all.

2. Repeat the layers until Slow cooker is full, finish with potato slices on the top.

3. Use 2 vegetable stock cubes and made up approx. 600 ml of stock. Pour this into Slow cooker so that it came just up to the last layer of potatoes. If you run out of stock just top up with a bit of extra water.

4. Then spray the top layer of potatoes with spray oil (you can use frylite) and a sprinkle of paprika.

5. Cooking on high 6-7 hours will be enough. Serve with peas and green beans.
