1 slab of pork ribs
1 cup of apple juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground pepper
¼ cup honey
¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
1 tbs. granulated garlic
1 tbs. lime juice
2 tbs. low-sodium soy sauce
1. Cut into 2-rib portions and place in a Slow cooker.
2. Pour in apple juice, honey, sweet chili sauce, granulated garlic, lime juice and low-sodium soy sauce marinate.
3. Cook on High for 15 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients.
5. Put 2/3 of the sauce mix into the Slow cooker. Place the lid on the Slow cooker and cook at low for 6-8 hours or until the meat is tender.
6. Remove the ribs from the Slow cooker and place them on a tin foil lined pan, meaty side up. Brush a little more of the remaining sauce. Put ribs in the preheated to 200 c oven for 10-15 min - until hey are a little burnt.
