Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts, left whole

1 tbsp cranberry sauce

handful of mushrooms, sliced

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 beef stock cube

1 onion, chopped

1 tbsp flour

1/4 bottle red wine

1 cinnamon sticks

1 star anise

1 whole cloves

1/2 orange, sliced

1/2 lemon, sliced

20g / 1 oz brown sugar

Directions:

1. Add all the ingredients to the Slow cooker, give it a good stir.

2. Add enough water so that the liquid is half way up the chicken, but not covering it. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours.

3. Tip: Can be made with leftover mulled wine from our mulled wine recipe, instead of the Mulled wine sauce ingredients.
