1 package goya tapas para empanadas
1 lb ground beef (drained)
1 package taco seasoning
1/2 cup mexican shredded cheese
1 egg
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Set out frozen dough on the side to let thaw (it thaws out pretty quickly while you cook the meat).
3. Cook and drained ground beef as normal, add taco seasoning as instructed on package this is where you would add cheese to meat.
4. On the side, whisk the egg in a bowl, this will be your egg wash. Once you have your taco meat prepared and dough thawed, place a spoonful or 2 (your preference) in the middle, add a sprinkle of your cheese)and fold over to make empanada shape. Use egg wash and brush the edges to seal and either use a fork or pinch in folds to get the look you like.
5. Place into oven and cook for 12 minutes.
