Ingredients:
1/2 cup creamy almond butter
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1 pasture-raised egg
3 tbsp pure maple syrup
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
1.5 cup almond flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup lilys-sweets sugar-free milk chocolate baking chips (+ moree for topping)
Directions:
- 1. Oven setting: 350F. Spray a 8x8 square baking pan with coconut oil & line with parchment paper (no additional spraying after the paper). Use a whisk to whisk together the almond butter, coconut sugar, egg, maple syrup, and coconut oil until smooth.
- 2. Add in the almond flour, baking soda, lemon juice, and salt. Make sure to pour the lemon juice directly on the baking soda to activate it. Stir with a spoon until even. Pour in the almond milk & stir again. Fold in the chocolate chips. Add batter to baking pan and push some extra chocolate chips on top.
- 3. Bake for 20 min. Pull from oven and let sit for a while. Pull from pan via parchment paper & let sit again. Carefully cut into 16 slices.
