6-8 ripe saba bananas - sliced horizontally
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
2-3 cups of water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup cooked sago pearls
3/4 cup coconut milk
1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, vanilla and water. Stir, and add the bananas. Bring to a boil, and then lower the heat. Simmer until bananas are tender and liquid is thick and syrupy.
2. To serve, put bananas and cooked sago pearl on a bowl, the syrup, and lastly pour over the coconut milk.
