Ingredients:
1/4 cup oyster sauce (sauce)
3 tablespoons soy sauce (sauce)
1 teaspoon sesame oil (sauce)
1 tablespoon cornstarch (sauce)
1/4 cup chicken broth (sauce)
2 cloves garlic, minced (sauce)
1 teaspoon ginger (sauce)
12 ounces chow mein noodles
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 carrots, shredded
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
1/2 cup sliced green onion
Directions:
- 1. In bowl, add all sauce ingredients, mix and set aside.
- 2. Cook chow mein noodles according to package directions.
- 3. Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in large pan over a medium high heat. Add chicken and season with salt.
- 4. Cook until chicken is browned, about 5 minutes. Add in carrots and cabbage and cook until tender and the chicken is completely cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 5. Pour sauce in pan and let cook 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add in cooked noodles and toss to combine. Garnish with sliced green onion.
