Ingredients:
1/4 - 1/2 lb loose bulk sausage
1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/2 lb mozzarella, shredded
24 slice pepperoni slices
3 egg, beaten
1 tsp dry oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp basil paste
2 tbsp flour
1 - 12 oz can, evaporated milk
1 - 9 inch unbaked pie shell - deep dish
Directions:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350-degree F. In a skillet, brown sausage, onion and pepper. Breaking apart sausage as it cooks. Drain if needed. In a large bowl, beat eggs and mix in, milk, seasonings, flour. Making sure there are no lumps of flour.
- 2. In the bottom of pie crust, add the cooked sausage mixture. Next, half the cheese and pepperoni. Pour egg mixture over this and sprinkle with remaining cheese and pepperoni.
- 3. Place on a sheet pan and bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Let set up for a few minutes, then cut and serve. Serves: 6 - 8
