Pizza Quiche Pie

Ingredients:

1/4 - 1/2 lb loose bulk sausage

1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped

1/2 medium onion, chopped

1/2 lb mozzarella, shredded

24 slice pepperoni slices

3 egg, beaten

1 tsp dry oregano

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tbsp basil paste

2 tbsp flour

1 - 12 oz can, evaporated milk

1 - 9 inch unbaked pie shell - deep dish

Directions:

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350-degree F. In a skillet, brown sausage, onion and pepper. Breaking apart sausage as it cooks. Drain if needed. In a large bowl, beat eggs and mix in, milk, seasonings, flour. Making sure there are no lumps of flour.
  2. 2. In the bottom of pie crust, add the cooked sausage mixture. Next, half the cheese and pepperoni. Pour egg mixture over this and sprinkle with remaining cheese and pepperoni.
  3. 3. Place on a sheet pan and bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Let set up for a few minutes, then cut and serve. Serves: 6 - 8
