4 chicken breasts
1 (29 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
2 cups water or chicken broth
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tsp garlic
salt
pepper
½ tsp red pepper flakes
1 8oz package cream cheese
parmesan cheese, for serving
pasta of your choice
1. Throw chicken breasts, chopped tomatoes, water or chicken broth, dried basil, garlic, salt and pepper and red pepper flakes into your crockpot. Set on high.
2. Cook for 6 hours. After 6 hours, remove the chicken and set aside.
3. Strain out about 1 cup of the liquid and add cream cheese. Stir until it’s melted.
4. Add chicken back to crockpot. Serve with fresh basil and parmesan cheese over pasta of your choice.
