1 peck green tomatoes
5 lb. brown sugar
2 qts. ground apples
2 t cinnamon
1 t allspice
1 t cloves
1 t nutmeg
1/2 c butter
2 lb. raisins
4 c vinegar
salt, to taste
1. Grind tomatoes and drain off juice; add same amount of water as juice poured off.
2. Cook until soft. Then add the rest of the ingredients.
3. Cook a little longer and put into jars while hot. Seal.
