1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 cup crushed pineapple
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 unbaked pie shell
2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted (crust)
1 teaspoon salt (crust)
2⁄3 cup butter or 2⁄3 cup shortening (crust)
5 -7 tablespoons cold water (crust)
1. Beat together all ingredients. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake 50 minutes in 350 degree oven or until it sets and is brown.
2. Pie Crust. Put flour into a mixing bowl with the butter. Using a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the flour. Add salt and water. Mix until dough is formed. Roll out on flat surface.
3. Bake at 375 degrees until brown. Prick crust prior to baking for non filled baked pies.
