Ingredients:

2 large potatoes

3 cups ice cold water

3 cups hot water

1 teaspoon vinegar

½ teaspoon salt

cheese & onion spice

cooking oil for frying

Directions:

1. Peel the potatoes and slice them evenly using a slicer. Immediately soak them in ice cold water and Wash thoroughly, rinse with fresh water several times (this helps to remove starch from the potatoes) and drain them.

2. Boil water in a pot and once the water has boiled, add salt and vinegar. Then reduce the heat to medium and then add the drained potato slices. Cook for 3 min in this vinegar salty water. Once done, drain it to a colander. Again rinse them in water and drain.

3. Spread them on a flat tray lined with paper towel. Wipe out the water content using paper towel several times until dry. Let them dry out completely and leave them out for 5 mins to dry. 4. Next Heat your oil in a pan drops the slices on by one in the hot oil Stirring constantly and flipping until potatoes release no more bubbles. Cook for 10 - 15 minutes over a medium flame only (fry in batches and do not over crowed the pan). Transfer the cooked ones to a paper towel to drain the excess oil, Sprinkle Cheese and Onion Spice or Any Spice you want.
