Cream of Tomato Rice with Fresh Basil

Ingredients:

3 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 small onion, chopped

1 stalk of celery, chopped

3 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup flour

14 oz crushed tomato

8 oz tomato sauce

3/4 cup rice, white, jasmine, basmati

3 cubes of chicken bouillon

1/4 cup fresh basil

salt, pepper

crushed red pepper

Directions:

1. Saute garlic, onion, and celery in olive oil.

2. Add basil and stir for 1 minute, sprinkle with flour. Stir the flour in.

3. Add dissolved bouillon, crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce, and rice.

4. Add salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper to taste. Cook for 45 minutes.
