1/2 lg sweet onion, sliced
1 russet potato, lg dice
1 carrot, thin slice or chop
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 hen, split
1/2 c water
1 t fenugreek seeds, ground
1 inch fresh ginger, minced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 t red pepper flakes
1/2 t turmeric
1 t coriander
1 t salt
1. Put vegetables in first. Add split hen. Mix water and seasoning, then pour over hens.
2. Cook on low for five hours.
