Turkey Legs with Lentils

Ingredients:

1/2 lentils

3-4 c water

2-4 cloves garlic, chopped

1/2 onion or more, chopped

2-4 ribs celery, chopped

1-2 carrots, chopped

2 turkey legs

1 t thyme

1/2 t cumin

a handful of fresh chopped parsley

1 fresh jalapeno pepper, chopped

1 t red wine vinegar (any variety would be great)

1 1/4 t salt

1/4 t black pepper

Directions:

1. Cook on low 7-8 hours (more for a larger portion). Place the dry beans in first, then vegetables, and finally the meat. Top with remaining ingredients.

2. Since use some frozen carrots, they went on top. Once the meat was cooked, bone it to make it easier to eat.
