Ingredients:

6 chicken legs

1 ½ cups flour

½ cup panko bread crumbs

milk enough to cover chicken legs in a bowl

1 lemon

1/3 cup of hot sauce (more if you like them hotter)

2 tbsp garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion salt

2 tbsp of paprika

2 teaspoons of pepper

2 teaspoons of baking powder

evoo (extra virgin olive oil)

Directions:

1. Place the chicken legs (you can use whatever part of the chicken that you prefer) in a bowl and cover up the chicken with milk.

2. Squeeze1 whole lemon into the milk (which will make it become buttermilk)

3. Put hot sauce in with the milk

4. Stir thoroughly with your chicken parts and let set 8 hours in the fridge or overnight, put a plastic seal on the top to keep it from absorbing any refrigerator odors.

5. Combine the garlic powder, onion salt, paprika, baking powder, and pepper into the mixture of flour and panko bread crumb in a zip lock bag

6. Put your chicken legs in (one at a time) and shake well. Let the chicken drip dry before putting in so that the bread and flour mixture does not become soggy (or at least too soggy).

7. Place on a cooking rack on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. Spray with olive oil on both sides of the chicken and bake at 350 for an hour and then 375 degrees for 15-30 minutes. Cut into a piece to check to make sure it is done. And that’s it.

Bon Appetit!
