Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
¼ cup plain yogurt
zest of 1 orange
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons of pulp or however much you have
1 cup powdered sugar (glaze)
left over zest of the original orange (glaze)
left over orange juice for the original orange (glaze)
Directions:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
- 2. Line an 8 x 8 or 9 x 9-inch square pan with foil or parchment paper, leaving extra for “handles.”
- 3. Put all ingredients into a bowl.
- 4. Stir by hand until smooth (about 30 seconds).
- 5. Spread batter in the pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
- 6. Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes.
- 7. Lift out of the pan and spread glaze over warm brownies.
- 8. Glaze: Stir orange ingredients together in a bowl, adding juice gradually add in powdered sugar until you get a honey thick consistency for a spreadable glaze.
