Classic Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup Half & Half

1/4 cup butter

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions:

  1. 1. Combine all ingredients except Parmesan cheese and bacon in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir in bacon; remove from heat. Stir in cheese.
  2. 2. Stir sauce into hot cooked fettuccine, spaghetti, linguine or vermicelli.
