2 pie crusts
1/2 cup butter
3 tbs. flour
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
6-8 apples (depending on size)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Peel and slice apples and mound up in bottom pie crust. In saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour to make a paste. Stir in water, cinnamon and both sugars. Cook on low until thoroughly mixed
3. Pour syrup over apples. cover with top crust, cut slits for ventilation.
4. Cook for 50-60 minutes or until apples are soft and crust is golden brown.
